Northern Australia Primary Health Limited (NAPHL) is pleased to welcome two General Practitioners to its Board of Directors.

Mackay-based GP Dr Elissa Hatherly and Townsville-based GP Dr Chris Stelmaschuk have joined the NAPHL Board.  

Dr Elissa Hatherly is an experienced GP with a special interest in women’s health and regional medicine.

She is one of the founding doctors of the Family Planning and Well Women’s Clinic and also works at Southside Medical Centre as well as serving on the Board of the Mackay Hospital and Health Service (HHS).

Dr Hatherly replaces Dr Kevin Arlett who retired from the Board this year after more than two decades as inaugural Chair and then Director.

Dr Chris Stelmaschuk is an experienced GP with special interests in men’s health, Indigenous health and resolving GP shortages in our region.

He is Practice Principal and Director at North Shore General Practice and helped established the men’s health clinic in North Shore.
