Diabetes education Receiving a diagnosis of diabetes can be scary and overwhelming but support is available. Our Diabetes Educators can help clients to better understand and manage their diabetes. They can provide support with: An initial diagnosis of diabetes Introducing or changing diabetes medicines and/or injectables Improving self-care knowledge, skills and confidence Meeting glycaemic targets or clinical goals Continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pumps Recurrent episodes of hypoglycaemia and/or ketoacidosis Carbohydrate counting and healthy eating Diagnosis of chronic diabetes complications or other conditions related to diabetes
