NAPHL is a member-based organisation and our members are at the heart of everything we do.

Members are invited to:

  • networking events with other medical professionals,
  • offered professional development opportunities, and
  • first to know about new services or changes being made at NAPHL

We advocate on behalf of our members to create a better health care industry in Northern Queensland. We ensure the concerns of our members are heard by policy makers and publicly comment on issues that affect our members to ensure their interests are represented in the media.

Becoming a member is free and is open to all General Practitioners, Specialists, Allied and Mental Health clinicians, Practice Managers and Practice Nurses working in Northern Queensland.

There are two classes of membership within NAPHL:

  • Voting Members and
  • Non-voting Members (associate members)

Voting members are:

  • Eligible Primary Health Care Providers
  • Directors of the Company, and
  • Eligible Organisations

You are welcome to read our constitution for further information about the objects of the Company and rights of members.

Register your interest by completing the online form below. We will email you a membership form as we require your signature. Please return your completed membership form to [email protected].

Your completed membership form will be submitted to the NAPHL Board of Directors at the next board meeting. Board meetings are held in February, April, June, August, October and December. You will receive an email within 5 business days of the Board meeting informing you of their decision.
