Dr Kevin Arlett is Northern Australia Primary Health Limited’s (NAPHL) inaugural Chair. He’s a Family GP and Sports Physician with over 30 years of experience serving the Townsville community. During his career, he’s also been the team physician for Toyota North Queensland Rugby League Club, the Townsville Fire Basketball Team and has looked after many high-profile and Olympic level athletes. 

Dr Arlett grew up in the United Kingdom; he was born in South Coast of Wales in the cosy town of Mumbles. Growing up, he’d always had his sights set on being a General Practitioner.

 He runs his practice on quality first and understands the powerful role that primary health care plays in improving community health. He’s passionate about changing the future of healthcare from an illness model to a wellness model. He strives for more preventative solutions to chronic disease management and increasing the standard of care for our rural communities.

Dr Arlett said this is where NAPHL’s services are making a huge impact and it’s changing the future of primary health care.

In recent years, Dr Arlett has worked with NAPHL on numerous projects centring on community rehabilitation, preventative care and Telehealth solutions.
