Practice Managers and Practice Nurses working across Australia are invited to this online educational event presented by Julie Randall who is a Registered Nurse, Practice Nurse and Clinical Researcher.

Educational Activity Aim

The event will provide Practice Managers and Practice Nurses the opportunity to reinforce and improve the management of healthcare for Defence Veterans. It aims to improve knowledge, skills and confidence in defence veteran health assessments, consultations and treatments.

  • Learning outcome 1 – Describe ADF culture and life
  • Learning outcome 2 – Identify ADF cards and what they can be used for
  • Learning outcome 3 – Describe a Post Discharge GP Assessment and what it is used for
  • Learning outcome 4 – Describe and navigate through the CVC program for gold card holders
  • Learning outcome 5 – Define Ex Serving Organisations and ways to effectively communicate with them
