These rights are essential to make sure that, wherever and whenever care is provided, it is of high quality and safe.
Northern Australia Primary Health Limited is committed to delivering best practice clinical outcomes and continually improving our consumer outcomes.
The NAPHL management system has been developed in accordance with the standards AS/NZS 9001:2008 Quality Management Standard and the National Standard for Mental Health Services and is accredited by IHCAC an independent third party certification body.
These standards set out a framework which enables NAPHL to manage and address operational risk and maintain an improvement philosophy.
Northern Australia Primary Health Limited welcomes feedback from its clients and customers and fully recognises the principle of the right to communicate a complaint, concern or enquiry and for these matters to be treated with courtesy and respect. All feedback received will be dealt with in a consistent manner, enabling speedy and effective solutions. Northern Australia Primary Health Limited complements the care provided by General Practitioners (GP’s) through our services and increasing capacity to manage complex care needs.
Our primary healthcare services will ensure the delivery of health and wellbeing options as close to the consumer and their carers as possible.
Northern Australia Primary Health Limited is a leading provider of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Mental Health & Wellbeing and Allied Health services.
Our services are open to anyone living in the Northern Australia region. The majority of our services are provided at little or no direct cost to our clients through Federally funded programs. We also offer fee for service for those clients who do not meet funded programs eligibility.
We have offices in Townsville and Mackay and our staff travel to many sites across the region to provide face to face services, as indicated on the map. We also offer service delivery via phone and/or video conferencing where clinically appropriate.
